UK boy band JLS stormed onto the scene in 2009 after making the finals of the 2008 series of the X Factor under the mentor-ship of Louis Walsh. Alexandra Burke would go on to win the series but JLS have perhaps made the most significant impact on the UK music scene of any X Factor finalists and as such JLS tickets are in hot demand.

Oritsé, Aston, Marvin and Jon of JLS won a brit award in 2010 and the Best Album award at the MOBO’s as well as selling out 3 tours in 2 years! Its fair to say the JLS boys are flying high as they prepare for the launch of their new album Jukebox and a 2012 UK tour being called the 4th Dimension Tour. Scheduled for March and April 2012 the tour will see JLS playing 29 shows across the UK and Ireland starting at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on March 14th and finishing in Sheffield on 28th April.

As is often the case with JLS tickets, 4th Dimension tour tickets sold out quickly but some are still available through our resellers.

Nobody could accuse Manchester City FC fans of being unfaithful to the cause. Through good times and bad, Manchester City tickets have sold consistently, with average match attendance figures ranking among the top six in England.

Times have often been turbulent at Manchester City. In the earliest days the club’s fortunes were marred by accusations of financial impropriety and corruption and in 1920 the main stand of the club’s ground in Hyde Road was destroyed by fire, forcing relocation to Maine Road.

Manchester City’s rollercoaster performances continued, a mixture of FA Cup triumphs (in 1934 and 1965) and league relegations setting a pattern that would continue until the first of the club’s true ‘golden eras’ in the 1970s. In the decade between 1969 and 1979 Manchester City picked up two League Cups, two Charity Shields, the FA Cup and the European Cup Winners Cup.

Since that time Manchester City have struggled to reclaim a similar level of success, but as ever the clubs fans – the ‘Citizens’ – have remained faithful. Now, once again it looks as though the tide may be turning in favour of Manchester City. In 2011 they beat rivals Manchester United and then Stoke City to claim the FA Cup, they qualified for the UEFA Champions League, and they finished in third place in the Premiere League.

For loyal Manchester City fans, the excitement is beginning all over again. In a new Premiership season, get your Manchester City tickets and follow the club as it fights for glory once more.

Showing enormous promise at its inception in 1968 the Isle of Wight Festival showcased some of the biggest names in music at the time. In 1970 Jimi Hendrix performed to a crowd greater than that of Woodstock. It was to be his last major appearance, and it was the last time that Isle of Wight Festival tickets would be available for thirty-two years.

But you can’t keep a good festival down, and the Isle of Wight is simply one of the best. Resuming activity on a smaller scale in 2002, the one-day festival attracted an audience of around 10,000 and featured The Charlatans, Robert Plant, Starsailor and Ash on a modest bill of ten bands.

Since 2002 the Isle of Wight Festival has been held every June at Seaclose Park in Newport, although as the crowds increase (we’re talking from 10,000 to 80,000 in a decade) the boundaries of the festival are becoming blurred…

And there’s little wonder that the Isle of Wight Festival has become an unmissable event on the serious festival-animal’s calendar. In recent years the festival has played host to Jay-Z, Pulp, Stereophonics, Snow Patrol, Muse, Bowie, The Stones, R.E.M and anyone else who’s anyone in contemporary music.

Of course, like any self-respecting festival the Isle of Wight Festival also offers oodles of fine camping, eating and drinking facilities, so there’s no excuse not to get yourself onto the next festival ferry and have a damned fine time. Be warned though, Isle of Wight Festival tickets sell out extremely quickly so nab them whilst you can.

U2 must be Dublin’s greatest export after Guinness. And they’re just as adored by fans and critics worldwide as the famous black stout is. A measure of U2’s popularity can be gained from the fact that sales of U2 tickets for the most recent tour raised more than $550 million, making it the highest grossing tour in history.

It’s hard to imagine that Bono and the boys have been creating bestselling albums and performing live for thirty-five years, achieving world domination with their music and winning every conceivable music award in the process.

The statistics speak for themselves: U2 have picked up 22 Grammys, 7 Brits and 14 Meteor Awards, with a Golden Globe and induction into the Music Hall of Fame thrown in for good measure. Songs such as “Pride (In the Name of Love)”, “With or Without You” and “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” have become legendary.

They have twelve albums behind them and have sold more than 150 million records, making them one of the most commercially successful groups in history. Are they any good live? Well, according to the critics:

“The band is in a class of its own” (Hollywood Reporter)

“Prepare to be wowed all over again”. (The Telegraph)

“U2 is unassailable” (Baltimore Sun)

You get the idea.

U2 are the masters of the modern musical universe, loved by fans of all ages, old and new. Each U2 tour is more spectacular and memorable than the last. U2 tickets are on sale again: what are you waiting for?

What do you do when the world’s oldest contemporary music festival can no longer sustain the amount of music-hungry festival-goers who want to join the party? The answer is to create an identical twin: if you can’t get to the Reading Festival, get Leeds Festival tickets instead!

From relatively humble beginnings the Reading Festival has grown exponentially with demand for tickets frequently outstripping supply. Consequently the organisers, Festival Republic, had the brainwave of staging the same concert, with the same line-up, over the same bank holiday weekend in Leeds as well as Reading. Thus, in 1999 the Leeds Festival was born.

Actually situated at Braham Park, the grounds of a stately home between Wetherby and Leeds, the Leeds Festival provides all of the camping facilities offered by its older twin and can accommodate a capacity crowd of 75,000 festival fans.

Sharing its line-up with Reading (the same bands migrate between the two festivals over the course of the same three days over each August bank holiday weekend), the Leeds Festival has played host to some of the greatest rock, pop, indie and alternative acts in modern music. Over the last decade Oasis, Pulp, Slipknot, Muse, Foo Fighters, Metallica, Morrissey, Ash and just about every other big name act in modern music have graced Leeds’ stages.

And just like Reading, the Leeds Festival continues to grow in popularity, getting bigger and better every year, so if you want to avoid disappointment you’d better get your Leeds Festival tickets whilst they’re still around.

See our dedicated Leeds Festival Tickets site for all the latest news and info you need on Leeds Festival

The twenty-first century has provided good times for regular visitors to Stamford Bridge. In the last decade alone, Chelsea FC ticket holders have had the pleasure of seeing their club win the Premiere League title three times.

Compared with some of their London stable mates, Chelsea FC was a relative latecomer to league football, staring out as a pub team in 1905 and entering the league soon after. Despite gaining a reputation early on for securing prestigious players, it was fifty years after their formation that Chelsea saw their first major competition success when they won the league championship in 1955.

The sixties and seventies provided brighter times for Chelsea, during which period they added a League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup to their trophy cabinet. But as the club entered the 1980s, a change of fortunes brought on by hooliganism and overambitious spending almost brought the club to its knees; with Stamford Bridge in the hands of property developers, Chelsea FC risked losing their beloved ground.

The club was rescued by businessman Ken Bates who, despite his somewhat controversial opinions, steered the club back to financial health and, in a 21-year tenure, became Chelsea’s most successful chairman.

1996 heralded a new era of success for Chelsea which has seen them win two Community Shields, three League Cups, five FA Cups, and a UEFA Super Cup and Cup Winners Cup. The club is on a roll once more, so pick up your Chelsea FC tickets and watch as they continue their bid for Premiership dominance.

Sheffield indie-rockers Arctic Monkeys are an enigma, rising to public consciousness through the power of internet ‘word-of-mouth’. Thanks to the continuing adoration of their web-savvy fans, tickets for Arctic Monkeys’ latest tour are sure to be in demand.

Forming in 2002, Arctic Monkeys began gigging locally the following summer, giving audiences free CDs containing 17 of their demo tracks. These tracks found their way onto the internet thanks to an enterprising fan, and via the power of file sharing the Arctic Monkeys’ music went viral.

Such was the strength of Arctic Monkeys’ web presence that their popularity spread throughout northern England, gaining attention from BBC radio and the press. Appearing as an unsigned act at 2005’s Reading Festival, the band was quickly signed to Domino records. Their first single ‘I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor’ entered the charts at number 1, despite minimal promotional activity. This feat was then repeated with the second single ‘When the Sun Goes Down’.

Success was no fluke. Arctic Monkeys’ debut album in 2006 Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not became the fastest-selling album in UK chart history and performed well enough in the US to prompt a well-received American tour.

Two further albums followed: Favourite Worst Nightmare in 2007 and Humbug in 2009, winning the Arctic Monkeys an even greater fan base and numerous music awards including Brits for ‘Best British Band’ and ‘Best Album’.

As the Arctic Monkeys tour again, take your chance to experience some intelligent indie rock at the hands of a true Sheffield phenomenon.

Armenian-American hard rock heroes System of a Down (aka SOAD) had released five critically acclaimed albums and toured with metal legends Slayer, Metallica, Slipknot and Rammstein before announcing an indefinite period of ‘hiatus’ in 2006. Now reunited, SOAD are hitting the road once more. Be warned – System of a Down tickets will sell fast.

Taking their name from a poem written by their guitarist Daron Malakian the fledgling SOAD recorded four demo tapes between 1995 and 1997. The fourth tape caught the ear of legendary producer Rick Rubin and the band joined American/Columbian records, through which they released their first, self-titled album.

System of a Down the album spawned two popular singles ‘Sugar’ and ‘Spider’ and the band embarked on an extensive tour, opening for Slayer and Metallica. Greater success followed when SOAD’s second album Toxicity entered both the American and Canadian album charts at number 1 in 2001. The band toured throughout North America and Mexico before releasing, in 2002, a third album Steal This Album! comprising unreleased material from the Toxicity recordings.

SOAD’s fourth and fifth albums, Mesmerize and Hypnotize were released six months apart in 2005 and 2006. Both entered the American album charts at number 1, making SOAD one of the few acts to have two albums debut at number 1 within twelve months.

That was 2006. Now, after an extended break, System of a Down are back to delight and deafen their devoted fans as they showcase their unique Grammy-winning hard rock on a brand new tour.

Following an amicable exhibition match at Wentworth between a British golfing team and visiting Americans in 1926, businessman Samuel Ryder felt that a regular fixture was needed and sponsored the golfing tournament and trophy that still bear his name. Today, Ryder Cup tickets allow you to be a part of this prestigious and historic golfing competition.

The Ryder Cup, a combination of match play competitions, is held once every two years, with the venue alternating between a course in America and a course in Europe. Unlike most modern sporting tournaments, although the Ryder Cup is heavily publicised and attracts a great deal of sponsorship funding, the competitors play not for financial reward but for the prestige of taking part.

Following an extended period of successive wins by the American team, the Ryder Cup tournament rules were altered in 1979 to allow non-British European golfers to participate, creating ‘Team Europe’.

Historically, America still dominates in terms of overall Ryder Cup wins but in recent years the emphasis has shifted slightly in Team Europe’s favour, with the Europeans claiming the trophy six times in the last ten tournaments.

Whilst golf retains its reputation as ‘the gentleman’s game’ the tournament is still hotly contested between the competing nations, making the Ryder Cup as thrilling and entertaining a golfing event today as it was at its inauguration in 1927.

“Oh, What a Night”! You’ll share the sentiment of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ famous song when you pick up tickets for Jersey Boys the new smash hit musical that tells the story of the group and features some of their best loved songs.

And what a story the Four Seasons have to tell in a musical journey that begins with the formation of the ‘Variety Band’, the recruitment of young singer Frankie Castellucio: later, Frankie Valli and the emergence of the Four Seasons.

Taking in encounters with the Mafia, the band’s meteoric rise to stardom, fighting, jealousy and the consequences of unpaid debts, Jersey Boys cleverly interweaves The Four Seasons’ greatest hits, including Big Girls Don’t Cry, Sherry Baby and Walk Like a Man, into a show that transports audiences back to the swinging sixties for a moving, entertaining and thoroughly roof-raising musical experience.

In the six years since its debut, Jersey Boys has been seen by over four million fans in theatres worldwide, has picked up no fewer than 54 theatre awards and countless nominations and has been revered by critics, who have unanimously hailed it as the best new musical in years.

Jersey Boys tickets are a must for anyone who wants to be a part of the foot-tapping, hand-clapping musical experience of the year – let’s hear it for the Boys!
